These are examples of footage I have edited for future use on a project called about the HAF Programme, which will feature interviews from parents, carers, and HAF Providers on what they think of the HAF Programme and how it has helped the children of Walsall. The footage was taken at the SEND Coffee Morning, so I was able to interview at least two parents who attended and signed a consent form each.
I used an iPhone and relied on a combination of the room's lighting and natural light. With limited areas to interview, I had to take the footage inthe room when the meeting was over. I tried to keep an equal distance between me and the subject, so I could get the subject in frame, whilst also trying to record their voice as loud as possible (unfortunately my team had no microphones available for me).
As I had taken the footage in a very busy environment where there was a lot of background noise (due to no available quiet areas) and also as my camera was on a tripod on a table, the interviewee would sometimes move and shake the table. To continue these issues, I used Premiere Pro. I edited the video by using the effect ‘Warp Stabiliser' to rid of the shakiness of the footage. In addition, I used some audio effects to attempt to tone down the background noise and to try to focus in more on what the subject was saying.
I now plan to use royalty free music to be in the background helping improve the video's audio quality further and also crop parts of the footage to make it shorter.
