Walsall Arboretum Remembrance Day 2023 Displays
This works showcases a project I did to help promote the Remembrance Day 2023 displays in Walsall Arboretum.
I decided to take images and film the Remembrance Day poppy displays (created by the Walsall Arboretum Craft group), which could go on social media to promote the group.
I took several shots of the displays from different angles to highlight the amount of work done, plus did the same by filming them using my iphone (which I then made into a video).
The images and video were then posted on social media and received positive engagement and comments.

I took several imaegs of the Remembrance Day poppy displays (created by the Walsall Arboretum Craft group), trying to capture the bright colours and certain details of the displays.
I then chose several images and edited them - including the contrast, saturation, as well as cropping them to make them look even more appealing and eye-catching.
The images were then uploaded in the week onto the council's social media platforms.
Social Media Examples
I created a short video which would go on Walsall Arboretum's social media platforms to show the poppy displays at the entrance and the Fluffy the Horse statue.
I filmed parts of the displays from different angesl, took panning shots, as well as walking shots make it the video feel more real.
I then used Canva to put the clips together and add music to create a short 1 minute video, which eventually be posted online a few days before Remembrance Day. Click here to view YouTube video.
