This work showcases what I did for the Walsall Council 2023 Elections in May 2023.

I photographed the elected councillors. I worked with my team to photograph each elected councillor one by one. A colleague ushered the councillor into a side room where I was based, ask them to stand against a wall and I took their photograph. I then looked at the image with my colleague and if we agreed that it was suitable we continued with the next person.

I also worked individually as I edited the images (including cropping, adding saturation, etc), then I labelled them with the councillors’ name, before sending them off to another department to be displayed on the council website or be used stored in the archives for other future jobs and promotion.
